Account information you provide (email address, optional display name), the conversations you have with The Shepherd, verses you save, prayer requests you record, and Bible study notes you write. We store your preferred delivery time for push notifications and your device's push token so we can send them.
Your conversations are stored so you can resume them and so The Shepherd can respond with context from what you've already shared. If you've enabled personalization, the app remembers themes from your conversations (worries, gratitudes, people, situations) to make future responses feel more personal. You can review and delete these at any time in Profile → "What I remember."
We never sell your data. We don't use your conversations to train AI models.
If you join a group Bible study, other members can see your name and how many sessions you've completed. They cannot see your notes, your AI conversations, or any other personal data. The study owner can invite and remove members.
If you enable calendar-aware reminders, the app reads your device's calendar to find upcoming events that match your trigger words (e.g., "doctor," "interview"). Only the event title is sent to our server to generate a short prayer prompt. Full event details, attendees, locations, and notes stay on your device and are never transmitted.
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Deletion removes your profile, conversations, saved verses, prayer requests, study sessions, and all associated data. Anonymized aggregate usage metrics may be retained.
